Planter Hill Partners is owned by Aaron Cutler and Peter Albano. The two partners have separately built successful businesses in the retail, real estate and business brokerage industries and have turned their focus and talents to helping business owners successfully manage, grow and ultimately sell their businesses.
Aaron Cutler is the owner of Petro Realty Corporation, a business and retail brokerage company specializing in the sale of small to medium sized energy companies and their related retail operations, located in Hingham, Massachusetts. Since 2003, Aaron has brokered the sale of over 25 businesses, totaling more than $20 million in sales. During that time, Aaron also served as a primary business consultant to several large petroleum distributors in New England.
Aaron specializes in financial analysis and operational efficiency with a focus on strategic positioning and valuation for retail and commercial entities.
Aaron holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and is a member of the International Brokers Association and the New England Business Broker’s Association. He is also a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Peter Albano is the owner of Albano Realty Group, a residential and commercial real estate brokerage firm with offices in Somerville and Newburyport, Massachusetts. Since 2002, he has brokered over 125 real estate transactions and $75 million dollars in real estate sales. Peter is also the Managing Partner of Datick Development LLC, a residential development company. Since 2004, Peter has managed a multi-million dollar real estate development portfolio and overseen the construction and renovation of 43 housing units in the metro-Boston area.
Peter specializes in business development and marketing and sales for retail and commercial entities.
Peter holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Babson College, a Master of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He is currently a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
